This project is a quirky infographic that portrays information about deaths that occur while taking risky selfies. 

I chose to create an instagram carousel to promote awareness about this topic because instagram is a platform where people tend to post about their lives and adventures, and it’s probably the place where people would be posting their risky selfies so truth be told I did it because of the irony. 

I chose an illustrative style because I thought it would help enhance that quirkiness and be a little more light-hearted. I drew the selfie reaper in illustrator and built the rest of the carousel there as well.

I also created an animation for this infographic using After Effects and I recorded my partner’s voice as narration. I drew all of my assets in illustrator and then brought them in After Effects to animate them.
